Yollanda Roelle
Yollanda Roelle, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, after a very long battle with Lupus and COPD. Yollanda was born on June 14, 1955, to Consuelo and Elias Tijerina in Toledo, Ohio. She was raised in Ohio along with her two brothers and one sister. She met the love of her life, Mike Roelle, when she was only 15 and he was 14. They married three years later and had a baby girl, Rosalinda; eight and a half years later their family was comlete when her baby boy, Mike Jr. was born. Yollanda loved children and ran a daycare out of her home for 20 years and loved every child that came through her door. She was faithful and loving and so protective of her family. Her grandchild, Mariah, was the light of her life. She loved staying the night with her, staying up late and watching cartoons. She loved the Lord and was always in prayer for all of us. Yollanda enjoyed going to lunch with her sister-in-law and morning coffee with her brother, Bob. She will be missed by all, our hearts are broken, but we know she is in Heaven and we will see her again. Preceding Yollanda in death are her best friend and mother, Consuelo Tijerina, baby brother, Rolando Tijerina, and her grandparents, Augustine and Manuela Hernandez. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Roelle, her father Elias Tijerina, sister Irene Ortiz, brothers Elias Jr. (Ralfalinta), Roberto (Christina), half-sisters Olga Gomboa and Anita (Ron) Webb, her children, Rosalinda (Jeremy) Lohr and Mikey Roelle and one grandchild, Mariah Lohr. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, with an informal wake service from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Benson's Funeral Home, 104 W. 5th Avenue, Moses Lake. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Benson's Funeral Home. What a difference Yollanda made in our lives!

Thelma Irene (Thompson) Orr, 81, Moses Lake, Washington resident and former longtime resident of Centralia, Washington, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington from complications due to pneumonia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia. Interment will follow in Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis. Wesley Greenwalt
Wesley Greenwalt, age 46, passed away on July 25, 2008, in Spokane. He was born on July 31, 1961, in Odessa to David and Leota (Sackmann) Greenwalt. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1980. He was a member of the Zion Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was an avid WSU Cougar fan. Wesley lived in the Odessa area until serious health problems forced him to move to Cooper George Assisted Living in Spokane about seven years ago. Wesley is survived by his parents, David and Leota Greenwalt, grandmother Emma Deife, two brothers, Bradley A. Greenwalt and Jeffrey Greenwalt, all of Odessa, as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacob and Lydia Greenwalt and August Sackmann, his nephew August (Gus) Greenwalt and his uncle Melvin Greenwalt. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. at Zion Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Barry Warpness officiating. Concluding services and vault interment will follow at Odessa Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Zion Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to the Ronald McDonald House. Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, Wash., is caring for the family.

Eldred H. Sieverkropp, age 81, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, in Moses Lake. He was born March 25, 1926, to Herman and Millie (Arlt) Sieverkropp in Puyallup, Wash. The oldest of six siblings, he spent his youth working on a berry farm in Puyallup. The family moved to a farm outside Odessa in the early 1940s. He graduated from Odessa High School and spent two years at a trade school in Spokane.

Curtis W. Kulm
Curtis W. Kulm, 57, was born December 12, 1951 to Fred J. and Betty Kulm (Oylear). He attended Lind schools and graduated in 1970. He completed a degree in Diesel Mechanics at the Community Colleges of Spokane, then returned to Lind and worked as a diesel mechanic. In 1981 he began a farming partnership with his brother; which continued to the present. He was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in Lind. Curtis is survived by his mother Betty Kulm (Oylear) of Lind, his sisters: Connie Meilke (Karl) of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and Debbie Rausch (Leonard) of Spokane, his brother Fred Kulm of Lind, 7 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and nephews, friend Jacque Laird and sons Derrick and Bryden. Visitation will be Sunday December 13, 2009 from 1 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be Monday December 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Lind. Interment will be at Lind Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Good Hope Lutheran Church in Lind or Lind EMT.
