Mavs earn two wins over Davis at home

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Mavericks (9-5) defeated the Davis Pirates 7-0 and 4-0 in a doubleheader matchup Friday. Head Coach Donnie Lindgren liked what he saw from his team in route to their two wins. “We played pretty good today. Defensively, our pitchers were outstanding. We had a couple clutch hits here and there; we took advantage of a couple of their mistakes, but we're going to have to hit the ball better if we want to take anything the next couple of weeks as we play two really good teams,” Lindgren said.
