MOSES LAKE – The Moses Lake Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting – the second such incident in less than two weeks – after officers were dispatched to Olympic Drive in response to reports of a shooting.

MLPD Cpt. Jeff Sursely said there is no known association between this incident and another drive-by shooting that occurred March 21.

Nobody was injured in the shooting, though three vehicles and one house had bullet holes, per investigators. Officers were able to obtain a description of the vehicle suspected in the shooting and were able to track it to a residence in the 200 block of Knolls Vista Drive.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and subsequently arrested two juvenile males, one 14 years of age and another 17 years of age. The pair face charges of assault in the first degree and drive-by shooting.
