Grant Co. has a gang problem, but parents can protect children, police say
Gang activity happens throughout Grant County. One of the key signs of gangs in an area is the presence of graffiti in the neighborhood or even on landmarks drivers pass when entering a city. New graffiti should be reported immediately to law enforcement and covered up as soon as possible to prevent an escalating back and forth between gangs.

MOSES LAKE — Every community in the Columbia Basin is affected by gang activity to one extent or another. While recruiting efforts by gangs work to bring children in at very young ages, that doesn’t mean that parents and communities don’t have tools to fight the issue.
