WARDEN — The sun was bright and the field was green as the Warden Cougars celebrated this year’s graduates. Dozens of students walked onto the stage at the field beneath Warden High School.

Graduates had a chance to look back at their past through a video highlighting a before and after photo of them as toddlers or young students, listened to the parting thoughts of their valedictorian and salutatorian, got cheered on by family and encouraged to be brave and work hard by those around them.

The ceremony celebrated Cougar pride and a sense of community as some viewers watched from the field, others from the stands and still more from the fenceline above the commencement.

Full coverage of the graduation ceremony will be published in this Wednesday’s edition of the Columbia Basin Herald.

Warden's graduating class of 2024 lined up to walk onto the field at the school's celebration in their honor, led by teachers at the high school.
