EPHRATA — Tigers roamed marched in line down the central aisle to show off and collect high school diplomas Friday evening at 7 p.m.

This year’s Ephrata High School graduates totaled 277 with a variety of futures on their minds. Options included hitting the workforce, going to colleges scattered across the U.S. — and even one in Paris — and going to technical school or joining the military.

Regardless of their plans, the community showed up to support them and ensure that each grad knew their accomplishment was respected and their community was behind them.

Full coverage of all of the Basin graduations, including Ephrata's, will be compiled into a special edition of the Columbia Basin Herald after graduations are completed so that area graduates can have a keepsake that includes all of their friends from around Grant and Adams counties.

Whether it was handheld confetti cannons, backflips, wrestling moves or just being a bit sassy, each Ephrata High Grad threw out a little something special with the friends they walked onto the field with for graduation.
