Robert Bates, a Quincy-based counselor who supports veterans throughout Grant County, served in the U.S. Army in a variety of combat deployments before retiring. Here he is as a sergeant first class with his children prior to retiring.

Robert Bates offers counseling services to veterans locally. He will accommodate veterans as much as possible to ensure they get the aid they need to improve their quality of life, he said.
QUINCY – Robert Bates has experienced the mental health challenges of combat first hand and he wants to help his brothers and sisters in arms recover from the same through his work with Washington’s War Trauma Program.
