Woman struck by train in Ephrata
A construction crew works on the new Amtrak loading dock at the Ephrata Transit Center. A woman trying to navigate her way around the construction site was struck by a BNSF train Tuesday afternoon and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

EPHRATA — A 58-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries when she was struck by a train while trying to cross the tracks at the Ephrata Amtrak station shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Ephrata Police Chief Erik Koch said.
