Paul Neihart passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8 in Everett. Paul was born Jan. 1, 1914 to Charles B. and Mary Grace Neihart at their family home in Coulee City. He attended Coulee City schools through high school, graduating in 1931. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy in 1939. He married Pauline Wilburn in 1940 and they operated Neihart Drug in Coulee City until their retirement in 1980. After their retirement, Paul worked for various pharmacies on a part-time basis. Pauline passed away in 1988. In 1990, Paul married Mabel Ford Hazelton. She passed away in 1998.

Erhart Carl "Art" Meyer, 96, passed away Aug. 10, 2006 in Othello. Erhart was born Oct. 14, 1909 near Racetrack, Mont., to parents Louis and Caroline (Jacobsen) Meyer. Fintan Romauld Fasching, 70, passed away at home on his farm in Othello on Aug. 10, 2006. Born Feb. 17, 1936, in Winstead, Minn., on the family homestead to Joseph and Appolonia Fasching, he was the youngest of 12 children. He was fond of saying, "I had seven sisters and each one had five brothers." He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1955 and moved to Sequim in 1959. He married Jeanne Hunt in 1965 and born to them were four children. Finn moved to Othello in 1969 and was a welder by trade. He married Marilyn Deal in 1978. After retirement, he pursued his love of farming, raising and showing registered Milking Shorthorns. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Appolonia Fasching and his brother Engelbert. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and his four children: Jacqueline (Monte) Knapp, April Fasching, Mark (Christa) Fasching and Debra (Jon) Vaughn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two stepchildren, six step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on the front lawn of the farm at 786 S. Hillcrest Road, Othello, on Aug. 15 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Union Gospel Mission of Yakima. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Service, Moses Lake.

Florence Marie Lien, 91, Moses Lake resident and formerly of North Bend, passed away Friday, July 28 at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Douglass Cemetery in Troutdale, Ore. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.
