Second singles Abraham Alvarez was just as impressive in his 6-0,6-1 victory over Joseph Qualls. The first doubles team of Levi Garza and Josh Valdez rolled past Griffin Allen and Ryan Pugh 6-3, 6-0. Second doubles Danny Faustino and Erik Mendoza had a bit of a hiccup with Kaden Johnson and Andres Ramirez, but prevailed in three sets 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. Third doubles Saul Mendoza and Axel Rivera were tested by Gage Whitus and Xavier Hughs, but came out on top, 6-3, 6-4.
CBIT investigation of Motel 6 incident moves forward
EPHRATA – The Central Basin Investigation Team is continuing the investigation into the May 4 officer-involved shooting at the Motel 6 in Moses Lake that resulted in injuries to the suspect, Zachary Allen Stockton, 37, and Moses Lake PD Sgt. Adam Munro, according to statement issued by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
