HATTON — The former clerk/treasurer of the Town of Hatton has been found to have misappropriated money and used other money in a questionable manner, according to a report published on July 25 by the Washington State Auditor’s office.

Royal City looking to build new library
ROYAL CITY — Royal City is in beginning stages of building a new library. The Royal City council discussed the second library in a recent meeting, which was just one of a few meetings that are being held in conjunction with Washington State University professor Bob Krikac and a team of students. The final meeting will be held on July 15 at 3:30 p.m. at the Royal City Golf Course.

Contractor must provide own vehicles, some accessible to persons with wheelchairs and be willing to provide door-to-door transportation within the area.
