Wolf attacks rise to 15 in Eastern Washington

Monday is the opening of several hunting seasons
Just two days until the September hunting seasons begin. Opening will be the forest grouse seasons, which continues through Dec. 31. The limit is four a day with a possession limit of 12 straight or mixed bag.

FIRE REPORT: Multiple large fires burning in WA, local incidents quickly controlled
CHELAN – The largest wildfire burning in Washington as of Saturday afternoon was the Pioneer fire which had burned about 4,700 acres on the eastern shore of Lake Chelan, near the Cascade Creek Hike-in Campground.

90 water permits granted by state in Grant County

COLUMBIA BASIN — Starting in mid-April, a number of businesses and irrigators in Grant County will receive roughly 9.8 billion gallons of water as a result of 90 new water permits.
