Nola J. Nance, 92, Moses Lake resident, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Kayser’s Chapel of Memories with Rev. Floyd Wilkes officiating. Graveside committal services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 4 at the GAR Cemetery in Snohomish, Wash. Keith G. Bird, age 47, passed away on March 26, 2005 near La Grande, Ore. in an airplane accident. Keith was born on March 26, 1958 in Warden, Wash. to Ardean and LaVerne Bird. Keith spent his younger years growing up in Mattawa, Wash. He graduated in 1976 from Othello High School in Othello, Wash. He attended Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission in Japan. He married the love of his life, Sheri Haddon, on October 10, 1979 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Bishop and in various church callings. Keith owned and operated Action Drain and Rooter for over 23 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sheri, sons Kelsey, Brett, Jacob all of Spokane, daughters Jennifer and husband Todd Cooper of Provo, Utah, Lindsay Bird attending BYU in Provo, Utah, mother LaVerne Bird of Othello, Wash., brothers Alan and Melanie Bird of San Diego, Calif., Blair and Debra Bird of Salem, Ore., Blake and Donnalee Bird of Salt Lake City, Utah, sisters Paula and Kennon Forester of Royal City, Wash., Laurel and Jesse Risenmay of Salem, Ore., and 40 nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his father Ardean and nephew Todd Maher. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2005 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, 401 W. Regina, Spokane, Wash. Internment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Heritage Funeral Home 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224 is in charge of arrangements.
