Becky Jane Wilkins-Carter March 7, 1943 - November 26, 2016

Becky Jane Wilkins-Carter, our beloved Nana, went home to dance with the angels on Nov. 26, 2016 surrounded by the love of her children, family, and lifelong friends. She was born into this world on March 7, 1943 in Berkeley, Calif. to her adoring parents Martha and Harry Willett. The family spent a good amount of time living in various places around the Northwest before she met and married her first love, Kenneth Wilkins, on Dec. 12, 1959. Together they traveled and moved in pursuit of Kenny’s career advancement with the navy and then later into law enforcement. This brought the young couple to settle into Royal City, Wash. in 1973 where Kenny took the position of Deputy Sheriff with the Grant County Sheriff’s Department. They settled into the simple life and welcomed three beautiful children together: Mark, Melisa, and Shane. Becky and Kenny spent 31 wonderful years together before his sad passing in March of 1990.

Jason Aaron Connor Finke, 31, of Ephrata Washington, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Jason was born on Sept. 13, 1992, in Wenatchee, Washington to Jake and Jeanne Finke. He was a man of faith, a vibrant spirit, a beloved son, a father who adored his son Waylon, a friend and a cowboy. He attended primary school in Ephrata, Washington and went to Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington. Jason loved the rural small-town life, growing up on the family farm, and following in his grandfather’s footsteps as a volunteer fireman with the Grant County Fire District 3. He transitioned from 4-H, Future Farmers of America and the Smokiam Washington State High School Equestrian Team to the hard life of a professional rodeo cowboy in the Western States Ranch Rodeo Association.
