With his positive, cheerful attitude and good sense of humor, he was loved by all who knew him. Because of his great love of the outdoors, camping trips were a regular part of the family's vacations. He enjoyed traveling south where it was hot; especially to Yuma, Arizona and Death Valley. He was often heard to say "let's go for a ride." He was preceded in death by Gwen J. Cooper, the mother of his three daughters; his first born daughter, Linda S. Reynolds; his brothers, Harold and Laren; his sister-in-laws Jean Cooper and Doris Smith.
