MOSES LAKE — The sun was shining, the water was splashing, the kids were playing the water – and just to make this summer picture perfect, it was hot. And it's going to stay hot. The second week of summer will feature summer-like temperatures, although it’s expected to cool down by July 4.

Farmers Market put on a wonderful celebration
Moses Lake Farmers Market is certainly leading the way in giving families a patriotic celebration on July 2, which drew families with activities including bouncy house, face painting, rodeo truck serving delicious food all day with entertainment of familiar songs everyone enjoyed, whistling, clapping, singing and dancing, as a five-member band Cruise Control put their heart and soul in every song. Fireworks were the best we have ever witnessed here in Moses Lake lasting 33 minutes.
