A board seat on the Moses Lake Conservation District is available for appointment by the Washington State Conservation Commission. Conservation district board supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the conservation district. An applicant must be a registered voter, and may be required to own land or operate a farm. For more information, or to obtain an application form, please contact the Moses Lake Conservation District or visit the Conservation Commission website at http://www.scc.wa.gov/. Application must be received by the Conservation Commission no later than March 31, 2012.

Elliott is a Moses Lake graduate plus he has a MBA from the University of Washington. He is currently co-owner and manager of a successful fourth generation farming operation here in the Columbia Basin. Elliott is the father of two young children who will attend Moses Lake schools in the future. Elliott understands the cyclical nature of the agricultural economy and is well qualified to represent the agricultural community when it comes to decisions about additional school buildings.

Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake WA. The Board, acting as a board of equalization, will meet to equalize assessments by publication in a newspaper published in the county comprising the District. The time fixed for the meeting shall not be less than twenty nor more than thirty days from the first publication of the notice.
