The Chiefs hit the road last Friday to take on the Eastmont Wildcats in a big 9 battle. Moses Lake coming off an impressive win against Davis last week, was looking to keep their momentum going and improve to 4-1. The Chiefs have looked sharp in every game this season, playing smart, mistake free football for the most part; with the exception being their blowout loss at Wenatchee.

Anglers along the face of the dam, and down the Lind Coulee arm are reporting 50 fish days. The Sand Dunes give an angler all the opportunity to catch a 7 lb. Largemouth. The sun has been a blazing this past week so remember to hydrate! Temperatures are planning to stay around the 90's all week.
Senior Center to celebrate 40th birthday with barbecue

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Senior Center will celebrate 40 years in the business of serving senior citizens, and raise money to pay off the newly paved parking lot, with a barbecue and dance Saturday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the center, 608 E. Third Avenue. Don Wentz & the Country Boys will play from 4 to 8 p.m.

NEW YORK (AP) — Wall Street is following overseas markets higher, adding to four straight weeks of gains for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq. Big tech powerhouses including Apple and Facebook were the leaders in the early going on Monday. The S&P 500 added 0.7% in the first few minutes of trading. Several retailers will be reporting their latest quarterly results this week including Best Buy, Gap and Dollar Tree. European markets were broadly higher and markets closed higher in Asia.
