Knights boys earn third place at state with grit and effort

YAKIMA — The Royal Knights (24-5) finish in third place in the 1A state basketball tournament after a deep run saw them make the semifinals before falling short 74-64 to the Zillah Leopards. From there, they bounced back with a redeeming 64-49 win over King’s Knights to earn third in the bracket. Despite the semifinal loss, Head Coach Tim Ravet expressed pride in his players and the belief they showed throughout their game against the Leopards.
