Effie Jane Joe, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home in Ephrata, Washington, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Effie was born Nov. 17, 1954, in Pocatello, Idaho to George and Frances Harrell. She was one of nine children. Effie will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She touched many lives through her compassion, generosity, and ability to make those around her feel welcome and loved. Her greatest joy was spending time with family creating cherished memories, taking care of her plants, fishing, camping, and spontaneous road trips.
