Moses Lake Police Department recognized officers Yulisa Zepeda-Lopez and Caleb Welsh for their work on the Night of 1,000 Stars. Night of 1,000 Stars is a statewide emphasis on impaired driving with agencies across the state working to remove those drivers from the road. Both officers received DUI awards for their night taking impaired drivers off of the road.
