Tyler Wilson, left, and Silas Stredwick, fourth graders at Columbia Ridge Elementary, visited the Ephrata Food Bank Thursday to present a $471 donation on behalf of their school. The funds were raised by the Columbia Ridge Associated Student Body through their “Caps for a Cause” and “Stuffies for a Cause” fundraisers. Through these events, students were invited to wear hats - “caps” - or bring a stuffed animal to school in exchange for a $1 donation. Students and staff generously contributed to the effort.
