Moses Lake hosting Special Olympics bocce regionals
MOSES LAKE — The Washington Special Olympics East Regional Bocce competition is set to be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the games set to be hosted at Cascade Park in Moses Lake. With this, the Moses Lake Scorpions are both preparing to host and compete this weekend. “I’m feeling really good going in,” said Shane Lunderville, the Scorpions Bocce Head Coach. “We’re really excited. I think Cascade Valley is a good place; it seems to be fitting what we need for all our courts.” The eastern regionals are looking to have a strong attendance this year, with around 140 athletes set to compete. Lunderville said the Scorpions are looking to get in a couple more days of practice to be at their best come Saturday morning.
