First responders utilized police tape to cordon off the scene of a shooting at the Hawk Fuel station in Ephrata in late July after a verbal altercation led to a shooting that left one man dead, another injured and a third in jail. Eriberto Mendoza is in jail facing one charge of Murder in the Second Degree associated with the incident. No verdict has been determined in his case.
