Grant County Sheriff Joey Kriete presented the Life Saving Award to Noe Venegas Carreno for his actions on April 1, 2024. Carreno saved the life of a stranger, pulling the driver out of a burning car to safety after a collision. “We are very happy that we met Noe today to give him this very special recognition,” reads the statement from GCSO.
