The Mavericks’ Emilie Bong makes her way down the entrance of the Gorge during the girls 5,000-meter race on Thursday. Head Coach Larry Dagnon said Bong has showed a lot of natural talent since she started running in June.

Local cross country teams compete at The Gorge
GEORGE – On Thursday, multiple Basin cross country teams competed in the fifth annual Live Nation Invitational at the Gorge Amphitheater. Mavericks Head Coach Larry Dagnon called the venue one of the more unique races they see all season.
