A patient who had attempted to harm himself earlier in the day left the Quincy Valley Medical Center shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday and authorities are looking for him in an effort to ensure his safety.

Community's help sought in finding at-risk Quincy man
QUINCY — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Quincy Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who left the Quincy Valley Medical Center at around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday evening. The man is not wanted for any crimes, but officers are concerned he may harm himself.
