The town hall presentation was led by Hunter McLeod, the student threat assessment coordinator with the North Central Educational Service District. While Ephrata isn't necessarily the hub of gang activity some other nearby communities are, gangs are still present.

EPHRATA – The Ephrata School District organized an informational session on youth gang involvement Thursday night, bringing together educators, law enforcement and community members to address youth gang concerns in the region.
