During the regular March 5 Moses Lake School District board meeting, the board voted upon and agreed to send a letter to the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the governor regarding athletic policies surrounding transgender athletes. The board has now received a response from OSPI.

MLSD, OSPI spar over transgender athletics
MOSES LAKE – The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction has responded to a letter from the Moses Lake School District Board of Directors that was sent to State Superintendent Chris Reykdal with a copy addressed to Governor Bob Ferguson. The letter from MLSD addresses the issue of transgender athletes in girls sports.
