Police agencies across the nation are celebrating National Law Enforcement Day Jan. 9. Pictured above from left to right is Deputy Ryan Haring, Seargeant Mark Pannek, Deputy Dakota Blair, Deputy Sarah Bradshaw and Deputy Librado Barajas. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying how important it is to acknowledge the work officers do to keep communities safe and healthy. “Whether it’s civil unrest, huge sporting events or just helping a cat get down from a tree, law enforcement officers are a critical part of our lives,” reads the statement. National Law Enforcement Day was created in 2015 to express gratitude for officers in the United States.
