Samaritan Hospital continues to work towards its new facility and with 2025 has starting that means that 15 bills passed during the legislature are now in effect. Three of these bills affect the health care industry with new rules and regulations around the collaborations or physician assistants and physicians, fines for mandating overtime for health care employees and increased access to human immunodeficiency virus drugs and therapies.

OLYMPIA – At the beginning of 2025, a suite of fifteen Washington bills became law, transforming key areas from health care to workers’ rights, to cosmetics.
