Ephrata School District flags line Basin Street for the first day of school. Ephrata School District Public Information Officer Sarah Morford said the flags will be placed for a variety of events such as sendoffs for athletic and academic competitions.

Tiger spirit to wave in the wind
EPHRATA – One hundred, bright orange or black flags, adorned with the letter “E” will start waving in the wind decorating Basin Street on various occasions.
