Knights defeat Wapato in SCAC tournament

ROYAL CITY – The Knights opened the South Central Athletic Conference district tournament with a win over Wapato on Thursday, taking down the Wolves in a 2-0 victory to advance to the district semifinals. “The deliveries were better, the corners were better, the free kicks were better,” Royal Head Coach Jens Jensen said. “Some of the other guys we moved around did a good job, so I’m happy.”
