Adams County graduates two from corrections academy

RITZVILLE — Two Adams County Sheriff’s corrections deputies have graduated from the Washington State Corrections Academy, according to an announcement from the ACSO. Deputies Jose Barroso and Kolby Snyder completed their training March 20 at the academy in Burien, south of Seattle, according to the announcement. Jail Administrator Kelly Watkins, Sergeant Darryl Barnes and Corporal Evan Armstrong were present at the graduation. “We take immense pride in their achievement and are committed to supporting them, along with all our staff, in their ongoing training endeavors,” the ACSO wrote in the announcement. “We are achieving our goals.”
