The book banning debate has come to Olympia. Under a new bill proposed by Rep. Monica Stonier, D-Vancouver, the steps for school libraries to consider what material can be on the shelf would possibly be made clearer. However, opponents of the bill say legislation is already in place to address the issue and school libraries should not have sexually explicit materials.
