Soap Lake Mayor Michelle Agliano was sworn into office in May of 2022 after Alex Kovach resigned. Earlier this month, Agliano was accused of multiple inappropriate actions by city staff. Agliano has admitted to recording staff and asking them to campaign for her, but said she was unaware of regulations prohibiting either action.
