Damage to the upper floors was easily visible from the road at the Basic American Food plant just south of Moses Lake along State Route 17. Grant County Fire District 5 responded to the fire with assistance from the Moses Lake Fire Department. No serious injuries were reported and no facility staff or first responders were transported to the hospital, according to responding agencies.
