Surendra Singh is the new director of Washington State University’s Lind Dryland Research Station. A native of India who grew up on a small wheat farm himself before becoming a soil scientist, Singh comes to the WSU from Oregon State University’s Columbia Basin Agricultural Research Center in Pendelton.
