Grant County Animal Outreach staffer McKennah Solders spends a little quality time in the cat room with the shelter’s permanent cat Little Dipper. The window behind Solders opens into an isolation room for mama cats with kittens or sick cats. Its current occupant is a kitty with feline immunodeficiency virus, Solders said.
