KENNEWICK — Attendees at the 119th annual meeting of the Washington Horticultural Association look over a farm implement during a break in classes Tuesday. The convention and trade show filled the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick with all things tree fruit-related, from wind machines to rootstock and vendors from multi-generational family operations to international companies. Washington State University researchers gave attendees samples of a new apple variety, WA 64. The convention also included two and a half days of classes covering all phases of the industry.
