Daryl Jackson stands with a small, experimental light-sport aircraft that the company he started with his son Darrin, Jackson Flight Center, is working on. Jackson said he sold his share in the family business to Darrin four years ago so he could pursue some of his other projects, such as working for the Federal Aviation Administration as a designated pilot examiner.
