An unused transformer sits outside an unfinished cryptocurrency facility at the intersection of Road 1 SE and Road L.4 SE, south of Moses Lake. Declining demand for electricity from cryptocurrency businesses led the Grant County PUD to remove cryptocurrency from its emerging industries class.
