Moses Lake Police Officer Nicholas Metcalf is pinned at his graduation from the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy in Spokane. Metcalf began 16 weeks of additional training with MLPD prior to patrolling on his own.

MLPD offers bonuses to incoming officers
The Moses Lake Police Department will offer new officers up to $5,000 as a signing bonus after a unanimous Moses Lake City Council vote formally approved the program Tuesday evening.
