Othello School District partners with Sunny Farms to support local food bank

The 3rd annual Gleaning Day to raise awareness for local hunger took place at Sunny Farms Wednesday, Oct. 25. The event saw 18 students from Othello Elementary schools and McFarland Middle School pick produce that was not harvested at Sunny Farms location on East Main Street, which was then transported to the Othello Food Bank for distribution to local’s who may not have the means to purchase the vegetables for themselves.
