Spidell vice president of Frontier PTA in 1980

Jim Spidell was a longtime friend of my family from the time he was in high school and a friend of my uncle, Laurel Grimshaw. In fact, my middle name is Laurel, after my uncle. It is unusual for a columnist to use a middle initial, but mine is displayed in the byline of my columns as a tribute to my uncle. I see his friend, Jimmy Spidell, was president of the Frontier PTA in 1980. Read on.
