This 1976 Thrush SR2 crop spraying airplane, which burned after a hard emergency landing on Aug. 14 in the bar pit of Highway 26, is the first plane purchased by Jock Warren when he launched the Royal Flying Service in 1977. A RFS employee works on detaching the wings so it can be transported to a salvage yard in Idaho.
