Residents along a residential street in Walla Walla wave American flags as they wait for fallen soldier 1st Lt. Mathew Fazzari to pass on his way from the airport to the funeral home. Downtown, people lined the procession route up to five deep on both sides.

You always look for the good in a sad situation. It was there during the weeks since June 6 as the process of burying U.S. Army 1st Lt. Mat Fazzari of Walla Walla was carried out.
