The Head Start Program which is provided throgh FSGC, is currently undergoing a national reauthorization to assess needed changes to the program. Head Start Programs are said to receive more government oversight than almost any other, intended to make the program accountable. However, some Head Start administrators say the oversight gets in the way of staying competitive for grants as laws continually change.
