Grant County voters urged to return ballots early as election approaches
Over 52,000 ballots were mailed out last week to Grant County voters. For voters who have not received their ballots by the end of the week, Elections Coordinator Rebecca Pettingill recommends they call the office at 509-754-2011 ext. 2704 or stop by the elections office in Ephrata to pick up a new ballot.

Election day is 13 days away as of Thursday. Grant County Elections Coordinator Rebecca Pettingill asks voters to return their ballots as soon as possible, as early returns allow for staff to verify signatures, process envelopes and prepare ballots for counting. This helps to have more completed unofficial results on election night, she said.
