Knights advance after going to eight innings

RICHLAND — The Royal Knights (20-7) defeated the Klahowya Eagles 10-9 after a walk-off line drive in the bottom of the eighth inning of the opening round of the 1A state softball tournament Thursday. In her first time coaching a game into extra innings, Head Coach Lisa Lawrence was all smiles.
